Dutch track cyclists in our Low-Speed Wind Tunnel
Although our customers come mainly from the aerospace industry, we also provide test capabilities for sport aerodynamics. Dutch track cyclists Matthijs Büchli and Laurine van Riessen came to DNW to prepare for the Olympics 2020 in Tokyo. We helped them find the most optimal bike configuration and position on their new track bike in the Low-Speed Wind Tunnel (LST). A short movie was created by our partner NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre to show some highlights of the test. Enjoy!

Course on Propulsion Integration
Propulsion integration is becoming increasingly important as new aircraft concepts attempting to reduce emissions and noise receive more and more attention. In light of these developments, DNW's ambition is to strengthen its knowledge and experience in propulsion integration. As part of these efforts, DNW organized a short course on the topic in collaboration with the Flight Performance group of Delft University of Technology.

The intelligent lockdown is gradually being lifted by the authorities. The measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus focus on good hygiene practices (hand washing) and social distancing (staying 1.5 metres apart) to protect against large droplets exhaled.
