Beginning of February, DNW director Joost Hakkaart visited Korea together with the CEO of NLR Michel Peters to strengthen the existing 20-year relationships with key partners, including Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and LIG. During this visit, Joost visited KonKuk University in Seoul and KARI in Daejeon who are both partners in the STAR project for which a helicopter test will be performed at DNW-LLF later this year. At KonKuk University, Joost presented the DNW organization and their role in the development in Sustainable Mobility and Future Vertical Lift for a group of professors, PhD’s and master students.
